Mini Mole Turkey Burgers with Gruyere Cheese on Cream Biscuits

These Mole Turkey Burgers are spicy, creamy and absolutely decadent. You're gonna love'em.

2 pounds ground all natural dark (or white) turkey
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 bottle Big Acres Milagro Mole  
8 ounces Creamy Gruyere cheese, gently sliced into 12 slices
12 small cream biscuits, split (we found them at Whole Foods)

Prepare grill for medium high direct heat. Lightly oil grate (pan fry or broil if you prefer).

In a large bowl, mix turkey, oatmeal, egg, salt and 1/2 bottle Big Acres Milagro Mole. Mix well. Form into 12 mini burgers and grill on a medium grill 5 to 7 minutes on each side until done (internal temperature of 165 degrees).

Place burgers on a plate and place a slice of cheese on each burger.

Spread a little mole on the buns, then place a burger, lettuce, tomato and condiments on each bun and serve immediately.

Serving Suggestion:
Serve these burgers with a mixed green salad with grilled beets, macadamia nuts, goat cheese, dressed with our Mango Peach Chile Sauce.
