San Carlos, CA (www.bigacres.com), June, 28, 2005 ?Melanie's Fine Foods is proud to announce that their Big Acres Chipotle Peanut Sauce won 2nd Place in the Condiment/Dressing category of the America's Zesty Best Professional Food Competition. The winners of this contest were announced at the America's Zesty Best Food Show in Southern California on Friday, June 17, 2005. The competition included more than 750 entries in 80 categories, all competing to be called America's Zesty Best. This win is the 6th award for our line of gourmet sauces that also includes 2 Scovie Awards and 3 Food Distribution Magazine awards.

Big Acres Chipotle Peanut Sauce fuses the Latin and Asian flavors of chipotle peppers, roasted peanuts, hints of ginger, maple syrup and the tang of lime. This sauce is uniquely blended to deliver a spicy, versatile, and tasty kick to salads, chicken, pork, beef, vegetables, and tofu (recipe below).
